Swap time and Z

Image stacks can be saved as a time series or a Z-stack. Occasionally, you may find that image stacks saved in other software load into Aivia with swapped T and Z dimensions. This can impact the visualization and analysis options that are available (for example, stacks saved as a T-series may not be viewed in 3D view or analyzed with the 3D analysis recipes).

When that happens, go to Edit > Modify Frames > Swap Z/T to swap the image dimensions. Be sure to save the image to confirm the changes.
